Mothers

THE SUPPORT NETWORK:
Role models for moms are key.  Without role models to serves as guides, cheerleaders, encouragers and supporters, motherhood can be a very lonely place.

As a working mom, it is hard to find role models.  Most working moms are at work when the events where stay-at-home moms are able to network with one another take place.  Playgroups and classes take place almost exclusively during the day.

Mom @ Work--Providing opportunities for connection through a mentor program for moms coming back to work after maternity leave and through local working mother networking events.  While there are all kinds of virtual communities for mothers out there, nothing can take the place of face-to-face interaction.

  • Attend a Mom @ Work Networking Event--Not your traditional networking event--this one is about you and your children

work·ing moth·er:  A woman who is raising children while changing the world.  No one says that anything is more important than your children, but you have so much more to give.  Your job title goes far beyond mom.  You have a completely different life outside of the home.  You are balancing it all.  Mom @ Work provides the understanding and support of other working mothers.  No one understands another working mother.

NOTHING NEW, USING THE SOCIAL NETWORK YOU ALREADY HAVE IN PLACE:
Mom @ Work doesn't want to create another online community.  As a working mom we know you don't have the time.  Working moms are masters at using their resources and so are we.  Join the Mom @ Work network through the Mom @ Work Linked In group.  Because Mom @ Work cares about you and your personal information, membership to the Mom @ Work Linked In group is by invitation only.  Request to join today.
